Team Captain- Fiona Gomm has trained dogs since 1998. She started in competitive obedience and qualified 2 of her dogs to compete at Crufts. Both of which won their classes.

In 2005 she started training and later competing in agility and runs an agility club in Ripe, East Sussex.

Having caught the “flyball bug” in 2008 she now runs 3 of her dogs ‘Frazzle, Lollie and Rolo’ in Open. Fiona and her husband Mick are founder members of Fantastic 4 Flyball Team.

Fiona is an Approved Instructor and member of The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (number 00918)(www.APDT.co.uk) and a qualified veterinary nurse. Her methods are very positive, kind, fair and effective.

She owns a variety of breeds including Golden Retrievers, Rottweiler, Border Collie and a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.

Trainer- Mick Gomm has trained dogs since 2005. He also started in competitive obedience and qualified one of his dogs ‘Melba’ to compete at Crufts and trains and competes in agility with her.

Having also caught the “flyball bug” he runs 2 of his other dogs ‘Salsa’ a Golden Retriever and ‘Munchie’ a Staffordshire Bull Terrier’ in Open.

Trainer- Dani North is a qualified veterinary nurse. She started training her dog ‘Zeus’ in Oct ’08 and has been competing since April ’09. Zeus is the oldest dog in the team at 10yrs old, but proving older dogs can still give the younger dogs a run for their money! Dani has also just brought out her young Collie x ‘Isis’ into Open.
